Thanks for your comment. First, we can clarify our comment on the literal verses the spiritual. The short answer is that the Bible should be principally read as a literal expression of God’s word except when there are obvious symbols. As you know, the ram and goat in Daniel 8 are not meant to be interpreted as a literal ram and goat, but as symbols as evidenced by their explanation in verse 20 as the kings of Media and Persia and the kingdom of Greece. We recognize that this is not your main argument, but wanted to include it for others who may read these comments. However, we cannot overlook the spiritual [sic] application of the scriptures. When we mean spiritual application (or spiritual interpretation) we mean that there is a concrete literal manifestation as a result of the proper spiritual interpretation. For example, in John 2, when Jesus says “Destroy this temple, and in three days, I will raise it up”, the Jews were puzzled. They asked Jesus how He could do that when it took 46 years to build the temple. The answer is obvious in John 2:21. Jesus was speaking of His body. The spiritual application is obviously clear to us reading that passage today, but it wasn’t in Jesus’ day. Jesus is making a spiritual application that must be interpreted from a spiritual perspective. The Jews could simply not make the connection that he was talking about His death and resurrection in three days. Nicodemus has the same conundrum in John 3. Jesus tells Nicodemus that he must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. However, Nicodemus, a leading scholar/teacher of the scriptures, can only respond to Jesus with the impossibility of re-entering a second time into his mother’s womb. Again, the passage is clear to us today, but not to Nicodemus. Jesus was talking about a spiritual re-birth that can only come about by the will of God through the Holy Spirit. There is a third example in John 4 with the woman at the well. She believes Jesus is offering her eternal water that will preclude her from ever having to come to a literal well and to never be physically thirsty again. We know today that Jesus was talking of the eternal well springs of the Holy Spirit. These are just three examples where the Jews were unable to make the spiritual connection, i.e. its spiritual interpretation and its literal manifestation. The Church is at the same risk today. Especially when it comes to the proper interpretation of the prophetic material in Daniel and Revelation. What about Daniel 10-12? How can Lucifer attack the heavenly sanctuary? How is that possible? The clearest way to understand how this is possible is when Saul (later Paul) was on the road to Damascus in Acts 9 when he was breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord. Paul encounters Jesus on the road and Jesus asks Saul “Why are you persecuting Me?” How could Saul persecute Christ Himself when we know Christ had already ascended into heaven? Saul did not have any supernatural power to fly to heaven. However, Christ still asks the question “Why are you persecuting Me?” The answer is obvious. The church is the body of Christ (e.g. Ephesians 4:12 and 5:23). An attack on the body, the church, is an attack on Christ Himself, even though He is physically present in the heavenly sanctuary. Lucifer can attack and persecute Christ, because he attacks and persecutes the Church on earth. The heavenly sanctuary or the Jerusalem above (Galatians 4:26), or the heavenly Jerusalem (Hebrews 12:22), where Christ resides as our High Priest, is connected to the earth because the Church is the body of Christ. We are not overfitting our interpretation with excessively complex models but discovering the underlying structure of the passage by upholding Occam’s razor. It should also be obvious that the use of the symbols of the ram and the goat point to sacrificial animals as part of the sanctuary service. These symbolic markers help to confirm we’re on track with a connection to the sanctuary. You also mentioned Michael. We can say much on this topic regarding Michael and the Angel of the LORD as one is the same person of Jesus Christ. We are not the first to make this discovery. Many of the great Protestant Reformers first came to this conclusion. This includes Martin Luther, the father of the Reformation. Luther's associate Philip Melanchthon. The second father of the Reformation, John Calvin. The Baptist preacher Charles Spurgeon. Even John Wesley, the greatest preacher since the Apostle Paul came to this same conclusion. (We working on a comprehensive video series on this topic. Our purpose is not to make this point, but to get the Church to closely examine their Bibles for themselves.) As we indicated before, the Church, writ-large is repeating the same Biblical interpretation mistakes that the Jewish nation and the Jewish scholars made many years ago. As a nation, the Jews missed the first coming of Christ. We pray that the Church will not miss the signs of the times and the events that must take place prior to the second coming. God wants His people to know and be ready for His second coming. Please continue to critically evaluate everything we say. Hold us to the highest Biblical and historic standard. You be the judge.

The judgment is in favor of the saints of God, which includes true followers of Christ regardless of denominations. Please watch our entire series, because many Christians are still in spiritual Babylon and don't know it. However, very soon God will call all of His people out of spiritual Babylon/spiritual confusion. This is evidence in Revelation 18:2-4. If you say there was a point in time in eternity past where Jesus did not exist, then we will most certainly disagree with you. You would make salvation impossible and our faith in vain. The law of God is a revelation of God’s character. When properly understood, it is a law of love. A law of liberty. Love towards God and love towards others. The law of God is the New Covenant, the eternal covenant. Christ says, if you love Me, keep My commandments. Is God’s love for you so cheap that you neglect to internalize Hebrews 8:10 (NASB95): 10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people. Those who practice lawlessness cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Yes. Since Belshazzar was king of Babylon (co-ruler with his father, Nabonidus), he would be part of the head of gold of Daniel 2. When Belshazzar was slain (Daniel 5:30), Darius the Mede received the kingdom (Daniel 5:31) which would transition to the chest and arms of silver.
